How to Publish a Memorial
While a memorial is a draft, only you can see it. Publishing opens the page to those you share it with.
Draft and publishing
When you create a memorial, you work with a draft that only you can see. When everything is ready, click "Publish" — the page becomes available by link and QR code. Until then you can fill it out calmly, without rushing.
Publishing and privacy
Publishing doesn't mean "for everyone on the internet": you set the access level separately — open, password-protected, or by invitation. You can publish a page and keep it password-protected for the family. These settings are independent of each other.
What to check before publishing
Look over the page with a stranger's eyes: are the dates right, are there typos, does each section belong? Make sure the portrait and epitaph are exactly the ones you want people to see first. After that, publishing is the matter of a single button.
You can unpublish
At any moment you can return the memorial to draft — then the page becomes visible to you alone again. This is handy if you need to temporarily hide it for a major rework. The content is fully preserved in the meantime.
- A draft is visible only to you.
- Publishing opens the link and QR.
- Access is set separately from publishing.
- You can return it to draft at any time.
