How to Link Relatives' Memory Pages into a Tree

In Pomni you can connect relatives into a tree in just a couple of clicks, by adding family members to a person or joining memory pages you have already created.

Add a relative

Open a person's tree and click "Add relative": choose the relationship (father, mother, spouse, son, daughter), enter the name and the years. The service creates a new memory page and links it right away, placing the node in the correct generation.

Link existing pages

If a relative's page already exists, you can connect it to the person directly. There are two kinds of links, parent to child and spouses, and the whole family tree is built from these.

Merge the trees of different families

If a relative belongs to another account, send a connection request using the link to their page. The owner confirms the kinship, and the two trees merge. Nothing of someone else's can be attached without mutual consent.

Managing the links

Any link can be removed, and requests can be confirmed or declined in the "Requests" section. This keeps the tree accurate and under your control.

  • Add a relative in a couple of clicks.
  • Links: parent to child and spouses.
  • Merge trees by request and consent.
  • Requests are confirmed by both sides.
