How to Delete a Memorial

Export first

Before deleting, we strongly recommend downloading your data via export. Deletion is irreversible, and the archive can't be restored afterward. A backup protects you from a hasty decision.

Perhaps hide it rather than delete

If you're not sure, consider an alternative: the page can be returned to draft or made private. Then it disappears from view but is preserved for you. Deletion is best chosen when the decision is final.

How to delete

In the editor, open "More" → "Delete memorial" and confirm the action. The page and all its materials will be deleted. The confirmation exists precisely so this doesn't happen by accident.

Complete deletion

We don't keep hidden copies against your decision — deletion means deletion. This is part of our attitude toward memory and toward your right to manage it. Trust is built, among other things, on honest deletion.

• Do an export first.
• It may be enough to hide it or return it to draft.
• "More" → "Delete memorial" + confirmation.
• Deletion is complete and irreversible.
